Upcoming Events
The American Advertising Archive is pleased to announce a collaborative exhibition in conjunction with the National Museum of Modern Art. This exhibition, titled “The Warhol Effect: The Commericial and Cultural Ramifications of Pop Art,” will explore the connection between product advertisements and some of the most iconic pieces in the pop art movement. This exhibition runs from June 1 – December 1, 2010.
American Advertising Archive Costume Gala
The exhibition “Mad Men: The Advertising Culture in 1960s Manhattan” will conclude on May 1st. In celebration of this fascinating era in advertising, the Archive will host a Costume Ball, with proceeds to benefit the new Conservation Laboratory to be built in 2010. Please join us for an evening of drinks, dancing, and decadence, 1960s-style.
